What an awesome weekend of paddling by the Melbourne Outrigger Canoe Club team, some of the highlights were:
- MOCC took out first place in every OC6 event, men’s, women’s and mixed
- Our Master Men’s team raked in maximum points
- We took 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Men’s OC1 Sprint
- 6 of our open men finished in the top 10 in the OC1 Marathon
- MOCC took out the Victorian Zone Championship Trophy
- The Opens Men’s OC6 team took out the Glen Noonan Trophy
- MOCC awarded lifetime memberships to Warwick Ford and Brendan Condon
We have set ourselves up to take the overall Victorian Zone Points Championship Trophy off Tassie’s hands this year if we can get a strong contingent over to the Adelaide Regatta, the last of the Zone Grand Prix Regatta’s for this season. Adelaide Regatta is on the 12th – 13th March, so lock in the dates and get ready for an epic road trip to SA.
